SIMRS, Hospital Information System
A hospital management information system built around your care workflow, from patient registration to billing and reports.

Care in a hospital involves many interdependent departments: registration, outpatient clinics, pharmacy, cashier and management. When each department keeps records its own way, patients wait longer, data easily falls out of sync, and reports for management are hard to put together quickly.
SIMRS (Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit, the Indonesian term for a hospital management information system) connects those departments in one system. Patient data is recorded once at registration, then shared by the outpatient clinics, pharmacy and cashier. Management can also view reports from the same data.
Every hospital and clinic has a different workflow. That is why we deliver SIMRS as custom development, designed around the way your healthcare facility works.
Modules that can be developed
- Patient registration: new and returning patient data, queues and the destination clinic
- Electronic medical records: each patient's visit history, examinations, diagnoses and procedures
- Outpatient clinics: patient lists per doctor, examination notes and prescriptions
- Pharmacy: prescriptions from the clinics, drug stock and dispensing
- Cashier and billing: service, procedure and medication charges itemised in one bill
- Reports: patient visits, services, pharmacy and revenue for management
- Access rights: each staff member sees only the data that fits their role
Integration with external systems, such as government platforms or insurers, can be discussed according to your needs and the applicable regulations.
Who is it for?
- Hospitals that want to replace manual records or a legacy system that is hard to develop further
- Growing main clinics and primary clinics (klinik utama and klinik pratama, the two Indonesian clinic classes)
- Healthcare facilities with specific care workflows that do not fit off-the-shelf systems
- Management teams that need faster, more accurate service reports
What you need to prepare
- An overview of your current care workflow, from patient arrival to discharge
- A list of the departments and staff roles that will use the system
- Examples of the forms, reports and documents you use today
- Data that needs to be moved from your old system or records
It does not need to be complete from the start. We help map it out together with your team during the requirements analysis.
How we work
- Consultation: we listen to your healthcare facility's situation and priorities.
- Requirements analysis: we study the care workflow in each department together with your team, then define the scope of the system.
- Phased development: the system is built module by module, starting with the most urgent department, and tested together before it goes into use.
- Training: staff in each department are trained on the modules relevant to their work.
- Support: we support you through the early period of use and follow up on any improvements needed.
A phased approach helps hospitals make the switch without having to change every process at once.
Frequently asked questions
Does the SIMRS have to be built in full all at once?
No. Many healthcare facilities start with the modules they need most, such as registration and medical records, then add other modules step by step.
Can the SIMRS connect with other systems?
Integration with external systems or with systems you already use can be discussed during the requirements analysis, depending on the access available and each party's requirements.
